About Us

The idea of The Go Two Guys came about from a visit with my 82-year-old Dad in Florida. He had saved a list of chores for me to do. At the end of our visit, he mentioned that it would be a great idea to have someone like me help out people his age who can no longer do stuff around the house: small painting, patching sheetrock, changing air filters, fixing a flat on a lawnmower, planting a tree or even doing some spring cleaning.

On the way back to Senoia, my wife Becky joked that we should start a business to do people’s “honey do” lists. By the time we completed the five-hour drive, we’d talked to an accountant, an attorney, an investor, and my son who is also a firefighter. We would be .

Now, we didn’t want to be known as just a grass-cutting business or a house-cleaning business. Although we would provide both of those services, I wanted to do much more than that. I wanted to do the Honey Dos.

Originally, was just going to be my son and me, but the response to our business has been so overwhelming that we’ve turned to our fellow firefighters for help. All ofare local off-duty firefighters and experts in their fields of service who serve the communities in which they live professionally and honorably.

We work a 24-hour shift and have 48 hours off. That’s a lot of free time most people aren’t afforded, and it gives us a unique opportunity to help others finally complete all of those “honey dos” around the house that they can’t find the time for.

, Inc. donates 2% of all income on a yearly basis to local injury and fire prevention efforts through our Charitable Branch. As our business grows, so will our commitment to the community. After all, we’re firefighters. Giving back to the community is what we do.

In times of need, you turn to your family, and for over 400 years, firefighters have considered each other as family.

I look forward to our family helping yours.
